We are pleased to offer the opportunity for you to holiday at Taurus Apartment in the beautiful town of Side (pronounced ‘see-day’) on the Mediterranean Coast of Southern Turkey.
Our Taurus apartment provides excellent spacious holiday accommodation with swimming pool in a small community within the town of Side. This larger than normal duplex home has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people.
Taurus Apartment is fully air conditioned and the accommodation is split over 2 floors, has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and can sleep up to 6 people. The property is situated on a small complex with its own, large swimming pool, which Taurus Apartment overlooks.
The apartment and complex have been fully refurbished to a high standard. The accommodation is smart, well-appointed, comfortable and equipped with everything you will need for an enjoyable holiday, including full cooking facilities.
Lots of little extras help to make the apartment special. These include air conditioning, a Hi-Fi and a selection of CDs, TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs, PlayStation and a selection of games, safety deposit box, iron/ironing board, dressing gowns, a library shelf, first aid kit and board games
With views to the Taurus Mountains and many historical sites and modern amenities all close at hand this really is a location with something for everyone. The many activities available include water sports, river and mountain trips, championship golf courses and white-water rafting.
The local centre of Kemer-Side which has its own bars and more traditional restaurants, is 5-10 minutes walk away. The centre of Side with its ancient architecture, old winding streets, many restaurants, bars, shops and discos is within walking distance.
Side really is one of Turkey’s gems: a UNESCO world heritage site, quaint and historic and yet full of modern amenities. The town is situated on a headland edged by two enormous sandy beaches which offer water-sports, sun-beds and the lapping, sparkling Mediterranean sea.
The old town is woven with colourful alleys full of jewellery, clothes and carpet shops as well as an ancient roman amphitheatre and temple, all within the crumbling city walls. The cost of living in Turkey is very reasonable and the people are very friendly and welcoming.
